We visited Ganapatipule, a temple town and beach resort on the Konkan coast of Maharastra. Ganapatipule is located about 350 km south of Mumbai in the Ratnagiri district famous for it’s “Apus” mangos (Alphanso). The Lord Ganesh of Ganapatipule is the “Paschim Dwardevta”, Western Sentinel God of India. The temple is built into a hill right on the beach and is beautiful.
